It’s mental health awareness week. I’d like to take this opportunity to share a simple message of solidarity: you are not alone, and brighter days are coming! Soon we’ll be able to do the things we love once more. Conference halls will be filled with friends (for now, digital alternatives will have to do - see our stories on ISCC & GCxGC 2021 below). And, away from work, we will be reunited with family, concerts, restaurants, museums, galleries. Maybe our May cover feature, “The Art of Mass Spectra,” can substitute those physical galleries for the time being! Know of any great mental health initiatives in the field? I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time, Matt Hallam, Editor
