New and Unique Immobilised Chiral Polysaccharide Phase by YMC
In addition to their existing CHIRAL ART phases, YMC now introduce a new chiral, immobilised polysaccharide phase: CHIRAL ART Cellulose-SJ. CHIRAL ART Cellulose-SJ is UNIQUE! It uses the same chiral selector found in coated products on the market BUT due to its immobilisation it is unique in the market!
Control of pH in KF titration
Hydranal is offering a wide range of additional Karl Fischer titration products, including buffers to neutralize acidic or basic samples to reach ideal pH-value or suppress side reactions.
Best-in-class sensitivity meets wide range of applications
Shimadzu’s GCMS-QP2020 high-end single quadrupole gas chromatograph mass spectrometer offers excellent performance and smart operability. The instrument satisfies a wide range of needs for single quadrupole GC-MS systems, e.g. testing/inspection of food, pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental applications. The GCMS-QP2020 achieves the highest sensitivity in its class and enables high-speed performance for many applications.
INSIGHT - Outstanding performance for routine GCxGC
INSIGHT™, the new flow modulator from SepSolve Analytical, overcomes the practical and performance difficulties experienced with other modulator designs for GC×GC. With cryogen-free operation and outstanding peak capacity, INSIGHT for the first time allows routine GC laboratories to benefit from the full power of GC×GC peak separation.
Application Notes
Current Methodologies for Drugs of Abuse Urine Testing
Analysis of drug panels in urine samples can be challenging, and the trend towards larger panels including multiple drug classes complicates the issues faced during method development. This white paper examines a number of aspects of sample preparation, and their impact on the success of subsequent LC-MS/MS analysis of urine panels.
Drugs of Abuse in Oral Fluids: Automated SPE Extraction and LC-MS/MS Determination
Over 50 drugs of abuse and internal standards were extracted from oral fluid samples using a miniaturized, automated SPE procedure coupled to LC-MS/MS. Calibration curves had R2 values of >0.99. Accuracy averaged 101 % (86.3 % - 113 %), precision data averaged 5.97 % RSD (0.840 % -16.7 %).
Continuous Headspace Analysis Using SIFT-MS: A Powerful Probe of Dynamic Processes
This application note introduces the continuous headspace analysis (CHA) technique, which revolutionizes investigation of dynamic processes. By applying direct analysis using selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry (SIFT-MS), continuous, real-time monitoring of volatile emissions from diverse industrial and consumer products is simple.
Enhanced characterisation of cannabis extracts using flow-modulated GCxGC- TOF MS/FID with Tandem Ionisation
This study demonstrates the use of flow-modulated GC×GC to analyse complex cannabis extracts, with simultaneous detection by TOF MS for confident identification and FID for robust quantitation.
Forensic analysis of fire debris using headspace sampling with TD-GC-MS
This Application Note describes the analysis of ignitable liquid residues (ILRs) from fire debris, using static or dynamic headspace sampling onto sorbent tubes, in conjunction with TD–GC–MS.
Characterisation of Magnetically Tunable Colloidal Photonic Crystals Using the Zetasizer Nano
Highly charged Fe3O4 nanocrystals have found applications in telecommunication devices, drug delivery and contrast agents. The Zetasizer Nano can characterize the size and stability of these photonic crystal dispersions easily and quickly.
Using nanoparticle tracking analysis to quantify the environmental impact of nanomaterial wastes and contaminants
The increasing number of nanomaterial based consumer products raises concerns about their possible impact on the environment. Suitable methods for their analysis are a particular problem in this regard. This white paper reviews the use of Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) in addressing this need.
