E-Liquid analysis for Formaldehyde, carbonyls, and VOCs in One Thermal Desorption-GC/MS run
A new automated thermal desorption (TD)-GC/MS method is presented for combined determination of formaldehyde, other airborne carbonyls and VOCs in E-Liquids. The method includes an automated in-situ derivatization agent loading step onto reusable TenaxTA sorbent tubes prior to the sampling step, significantly reducing blank values.
LC-FLD analysis of 4 PAHs in olive oil samples using AZURA® GPC Clean-up System
Here, we perform the cleanup of olive oil samples before HPLC analysis by means of the AZURA GPC Cleanup System. The GPC-LC-FLD method is very useful to identify and quantify Benzo(a)pyrene and the sum of four Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, PAHs, in olive oils according to Commission Regulations (EU) No 835/2011.
Sorptive extraction of wine odorants
This study shows that immersive sorptive extraction using high-capacity HiSorb probes, automated on the new Centri multi-mode sampling and concentration system for GC–MS, can be used to screen wine for ppb levels of two yeast-derived spoilage compounds, as well as a range of other compounds.
