Make your career much more than a profession, make it an opportunity to help students and colleagues grow in their professional and personal lives. But also, make it a mission to help society in terms of human resources development and scientific and technological advancement.

Lastly, when I was starting my scientific career, a renowned retired professor gave me a single piece of advice: do scientific work with partners from other countries and build a network with them. Recognition of a researcher’s work outside of their own country is much more difficult and such recognition is an important part of career development.
