Modular advanced GPC detector for upgrading single-detector systems
The Viscotek 270 Detector is available as part of the 270max system, or as a separate module for connection to other chromatography components, such as the GPCmax or other 3rd party GPC/SEC systems.
In its full Dual Detector format the 270 contains a powerful differential viscometer detector and the advanced LALS detector. When used in conjunction with an RI detector, the triple detection system provides advanced chromatography where each detector gives complementary information on the molecule being analyzed. Results include concentration, molecular weight distribution, intrinsic viscosity, molecular size (Rh and Rg) and branching information. The addition of a photodiode array UV detector provides additional compositional data.
