WITec Suite FIVE Software Now Features Active Environmental Compensation
WITec’s Suite FIVE data acquisition, evaluation and processing software now includes compensation for environmental variations during long-term measurements. Confocal Raman microscopy investigations on delicate samples require lower excitation power and a corresponding increase in acquisition time. The new feature ensures that ideal focus is maintained and signal collection is unaffected while the laboratory warms or cools over many hours or even days. Removing the environmental variable from the equation allows the researcher to focus on their sample. This most recent development in WITec’s ongoing effort to provide results-oriented functionality is a standard, transparent and fully-integrated enhancement to Suite FIVE.
WITec is a leading German manufacturer of confocal and scanning-probe microscopes for state-of-the-art Raman, Atomic Force (AFM), Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) and developed the integrated Raman Imaging and Scanning Electron (RISE) microscopy. From the company’s founding in 1997, WITec has been distinguished by its innovative product portfolio and a microscope design that enables combinations of the various imaging techniques within one system. An exemplar of the company’s breakthrough development is the world’s first integrated Raman-AFM microscope. To this day, WITec’s confocal microscopes are unrivaled in sensitivity, resolution and imaging capabilities.
