Dynamic Headspace for Large samples – Improved Limits of Detection based on representative samples

The GERSTEL DHS is a module for the MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS). DHS offers improved limits of detection combined with the ease of use of static headspace analysis. The headspace above a sample is purged with inert gas and analytes concentrated on a replaceable adsorbent trap. The process is fully automated, including trap desorption in the TDU and GC/MS analysis. The GERSTEL DHS Large (DHS L) is an extension of the DHS option offering a range of sample containers with volumes up to 1 L. A single sample DHS L extension or an autosampler for 11 samples can be chosen.
