Four years after the drivers of IR technology were awarded the Nobel Prize, Shimadzu developed its first IR system in 1956. This year Shimadzu celebrates its 60th IR anniversary. In the last decades Shimadzu has developed technical milestones that are meanwhile standard. The most recent innovation is the AIM-9000 Infrared Microscope. This failure analysis system delivers a unique concept to the field of micro sample analysis. It offers automation of all steps involved in failure analysis and micro sample evaluation; observation, measurement, identification. The AIM-9000 is an analysis systems for all users, so micro analysis can be performed quickly and easily.
