Compact IONICON ultra-sensitive PTR-TOF-MS - Trace VOC Analyzer
Up to 10x more sensitivity than its predecessor thanks to the revolutionary new ION-BOOSTER funnel technology. Compared to traditional transfer lens systems, our funnel greatly improves ion transmission leading to a much higher sensitivity. The PTR-TOF 1000 ultra is the new benchmark for a robust and compact real-time volatile organic compounds (VOC) analyzer. Based on the successful PTR-TOF 1000 platform, the PTR-TOF 1000 ultra offers all benefits of an affordable, small and light PTR-TOFMS instrument, but in combination with an outstanding sensitivity, previously only available from top-of-the-market instruments.

We develop and manufacture ultra-sensitive real-time trace gas analyzers for VOCs, using the unique Proton Transfer Reaction – Mass Spectrometry (PTR-MS) and related technologies since 1998. We also produce trace calibration devices for analytical instruments, OEM time-of-flight mass spectrometers, industrial process monitoring solutions. The scientific main application areas include atmospheric chemistry, environmental research, exhaust analysis, food and flavor science, illicit substances detection and breath analysis. Over 300 leading scientists, institutions and multinational corporations are among IONICON’s customers.
