The new GERSTEL TDU 2 is a flexible and powerful sample introduction platform for GC/MS. Combined with MPS robotic automation under MAESTRO PrepAhead control, the system easily switches between Liquid, HS, and SPME introduction in addition to the following:

• Thermal Desorption of adsorbent tubes
• Thermal Extraction of solids or liquids in μ-vials
• Dynamic Headspace – DHS and DHS Large (1 L)
• Multiple Hot Injections and Trapping (HIT) for HS 
• Stir Bar Sorptive Extraction (SBSE) with the GERSTEL Twister^®
• Pyrolysis using the GERSTEL PYRO
• Automated spiking of adsorbent tubes with liquid standards

It is extremely easy to add – or switch between – sample introduction techniques.
