alpha300 Ri – Inverted Confocal Raman Imaging Microscopy from WITec
WITec’s alpha300 Ri is an inverted confocal Raman microscope with distinct advantages in sample access and handling. Liquid sample holders can be quickly and easily mounted and measured, accelerating experimental workflow and ensuring consistency. Bulky samples and environmental enclosures and other accessories can be accommodated by the motorized stage. Many modular components and upgrade possibilities developed for other instruments in the alpha300 series are compatible with the Ri. Techniques such as fluorescence, differential interference contrast (DIC) and phase-contrast can also be integrated. Label-free and non-destructive inverted confocal Raman imaging is especially well suited to investigations in life sciences, biomedicine and pharmaceutics.
WITec is a leading German manufacturer of confocal and scanning-probe microscopes for state-of-the-art Raman, Atomic Force (AFM), Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) and developed the integrated Raman Imaging and Scanning Electron (RISE) microscopy. From the company’s founding in 1997, WITec has been distinguished by its innovative product portfolio and a microscope design that enables combinations of the various imaging techniques within one system. An exemplar of the company’s breakthrough development is the world’s first integrated Raman-AFM microscope. To this day, WITec’s confocal microscopes are unrivaled in sensitivity, resolution and imaging capabilities.
