Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU), solvent-free extraction and analyte concentration platform for GC/MS

The Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU 2) is a flexible GC/MS sample introduction platform. The TDU fits on top of modern GCs and is perfectly suited for automated thermal desorption and thermal extraction of gaseous, liquid and solid samples. The TDU 2 is connected directly to the GERSTEL Cooled Injection System (CIS), which serves as cryo-focusing trap and temperature programmable GC inlet. The “Liner-in-Liner” concept without valves or transfer lines eliminates active sites, reducing the risk of analyte loss, discrimination and memory effects to an absolute minimum for accurate results.  For extreme sensitivity, multi-desorption mode can be selected in MAESTRO.
