What are extractables and where do they come from? As HPLC and other analytical methods are sensitive and serve as qualitative and quantitative techniques, the filter material you choose is important.
An extractable can be contributed to the sample fluid from the filter device, from the membrane, housing, or another component from manufacturing. As membrane and/or housing components become more soluble with sample fluid components, extractable materials will increase.
