Mid-IR LEDs are an excellent choice for NDIR applications because of their compact size, which makes them easy to integrate into portable or handheld NDIR analyzers. They are also highly efficient in terms of power consumption, offer quick response times, and are cost-effective. LEDs have a longer lifespan than traditional light sources, which reduces maintenance costs.
