RISE Microscopy – Correlative Raman-SEM Imaging for Molecular and Structural Analysis

RISE (Raman Imaging and Scanning Electron) Microscopes combine a stand-alone SEM and an alpha300 confocal Raman imaging system within one instrument. They offer quick and convenient switching between Raman and SEM, automated sample transfer from one measuring position to the other, an integrated software interface for user-friendly measurement control, and seamless correlation of the measurement results. These capabilities enable the linking of ultra-structural surface properties with molecular compound information to provide more thorough sample characterization than attainable with the individual methods in isolation.
