Advancing Global Mass Spectrometry Research in Lyon
The 26th International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC 2026) is a premier biennial scientific event dedicated to the latest advances in mass spectrometry. Organized by the International Mass Spectrometry Foundation (IMSF) and leading national societies—including the French Society for Mass Spectrometry (SFSM), the German Society for Mass Spectrometry (DGMS) and the Swiss Group for Mass Spectrometry (SGMS)—it will take place 22–28 August 2026 in Lyon, France.
IMSC 2026 brings together researchers, industry professionals and students from across the globe to explore cutting‑edge science in diverse areas such as fundamentals and instrumentation, life sciences and health, chemistry and materials, environment and energy, and grand challenges shaping the future of mass spectrometry. Pre‑conference courses, workshops, exhibitions and poster sessions offer ample opportunities for professional development and networking.
Set in the historic and culturally rich city of Lyon, the conference promotes inclusivity, sustainability and broad scientific exchange. Early registration and abstract deadlines are scheduled in 2025–26, with submission deadlines typically in early 2026.
