Over 65 esteemed analytical scientists gathered in a beautiful New Orleans restaurant during Pittcon 2015 to celebrate the achievements of Peter Seeberger and Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern of the Max-Planck Institutes in Potsdam and Magdeburg, Germany. Peter and Andreas won the inaugural Humanity in Science Award for their novel process to continuously produce anti-malarial drugs to satisfy the need in developing countries.
