This technology was first published in a Nature article in 2001 and is today widely considered as a major breakthrough in science and technology. PMCA enabled for the first time the ability to cyclically amplify the folding and biochemical properties of a protein in a manner conceptually analogous to the amplification of DNA by PCR.”
