A rapid, robust, sensitive and specific LC-MS/MS assay using the AB SCIEX QTRAP® 6500 system has been developed for the simultaneous detection of all major forms of vitamin B complex. The method detects all currently used forms of vitamin B6 and vitamin B3 in infant formula and includes vitamin B12.
The accidental or fraudulent blending of meat and animal products from different species is highly relevant for consumers with ethical concerns against eating species such as horse or pork in particular the Jewish and Muslim communities.

Increasing selectivity with high-resolution multiple reaction monitoring (MRMHR) improves the signal-to-noise ratio for better accuracy, dynamic range, and LLOQ when quantitating isobaric prostaglandin-D2α isoforms
Using SelexION™ Differential Mobility Separation Technology for better selectivity for peptides in complex mixtures on the AB SCIEX Triple Quad™ 5500 LC/MS/MS System
The high resolution and accurate mass AB SCIEX TripleTOF™ 4600 LC/MS/MS system was used to screen for drugs from forensic equine urine, and to quantify drug compounds with excellent accuracy and high reproducibility. Fast Information Dependent Acquisition (IDA) MS/MS spectra were used to additionally confirm the identity of detected compounds based on mass spectral library searching.

Exposure to air pollutants has for many years been recognised as a major cause of health problems. Historically, pollutants from vehicle exhaust and the burning of fuels were of primary concern, but as urban air quality has generally improved, attention has shifted to vehicle interior air quality (VIAQ).
