The International Centre for Diffraction Data® (ICDD®) is a non-profit scientific organization dedicated to collecting, editing, publishing, and distributing powder diffraction data for the identification of materials. For over 75 years, our mission has focused on meeting the needs of the scientific community through the publication of the Powder Diffraction File™ (PDF®) and by providing forums for the exchange of ideas and information. We further promote the application of materials characterization methods by sponsoring the Denver X-ray Conference; its proceedings, Advances in X-ray Analysis and the journal, Powder Diffraction.
