Advice to my younger self
Trust yourself and reach for the sky.

Who are your own mentors?
Isiah Warner was an outstanding mentor to me.

Nominator comment: “Olesik pioneered the field of enhanced-fluidity liquid chromatography — now commonly used by the pharmaceutical industry. Two recent awards highlight the breadth of her accomplishments in both high-impact research and extraordinary advocacy for public understanding of science – the Award for Chromatography and the ACS Helen M. Free Award for Public Outreach, conferred by the American Chemical Society.
