The wwPTFE membrane retention efficiency can directly increase the life of your HPLC column. More retentive filters will also remove smaller non-dissolved particles that may rest on the head of your HPLC column and affect your analytical results as they dissolve during an analysis. The graph below demonstrates that the life of an HPLC column can be extended up to 52 times by filtering samples prior to injection.
