Advanced Automotive Material and Tailpipe Emissions Analysis Using SIFT-MS

sponsored by Syft Technologies

Regulators and consumers demand increasingly lower levels of volatile emissions from diverse automotive sources, such as combustion exhaust, component emissions, and leakage. Emission compositions vary widely between sources, but frequently consist of both volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and inorganic gases.

This webinar introduces Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS) – an innovative, industry-proven analytical technique that directly, instantly and comprehensively analyzes air down to part-per-trillion (ppt) concentrations.

Various automotive applications of SIFT-MS will be described, including exhaust gas analysis, emission screening of vehicle components, and evaporative emissions analysis. Implementations of SIFT-MS instrumentation range from R&D through to the process line.
